In a remarkable gesture of recognition, 22 teachers from schools in Nouakchott-North (Dar Naim 5 Middle School, Teyaret 3, Toujounine 4, and Toujounine 4 High School) were honored on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
These teachers benefited from a specialized computer training program delivered by the Institut Pédagogique de Formation (IPF), in fruitful partnership with the Nouakchott Region, as part of ongoing efforts to modernize the education system and strengthen teachers’ professional skills.
This distinction was part of the monthly activities of the United for Education Group, held under the theme:
“Professional Challenges and the Societal Role of Teachers.”
The event took place in the Toujounine municipality, in the presence of officials, mayors, and key stakeholders from the education sector.
During the ceremony, special tribute was paid to the Nouakchott Region’s pioneering role in supporting education and training, under the leadership of Mrs. Fatimetou Mint Abdel Malick, President of the Region, who tirelessly works to promote educational initiatives and enhance teaching competencies.
Our sincere thanks go to the Nouakchott Region, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould El Filali, Mayor of Toujounine, and all members of the United for Education Group for their continued commitment to advancing education and valuing human capital.
A special mention goes to all the honored teachers for their dedication and exemplary commitment to their noble mission.
